ELECTRIC ZOO = OH MY GOD

Well what can I say about this festival. The music was awesome, the people were relaxed and chilled, the portaloos were in abundance and the Line Up was everything I have been wanting to see for 10 years. The only cons were the Beer was crap and expensive. That is it.

Ben Watt, Steve Bug, Adam Beyer, Guy Gerber, Danny Tenaglia, Heidi, Francois K, Chris Lake, Deadmau5, Sleepy and Boo, Mark Emestus, Tom Middleton, Nathan Fake, James Murphy, Krankie Knuckles and Richiw Hawtin were just amazing. Ben Watt and Steve Bug the stand out of the day.

So here is a few of my favourite snaps from the day. Enjoy!

DAYS 4/5/6

Hi All,

Well I havge not had a chance to get to an internet cafe for a few days so it has to be an update of the last few days here for you.

Zoe arrived late Saturday night so we just got a Pizza slice and had an early night. Sunday we decide to walk around Soho which was great for me but not so great for Zoe's bank balance. I am restraining myself unitl the end of the trip.

We found many beautiful stores and also some great cafe's to eat at. Sunday night we had Meican at the place next to the hotel and then went for a walk around Battery Park on the west side and saw these amazing scupltures which i will post photo's of later. There is a story to tell about this but I only have 18 mins left so will leave for later.

Monday we went for an explore around Century 21 (Anthea it is so chaotic that I almost started to panic, but fun none the less) and then headed to the finacial ditrict and also Wall Street.
We then went to the lower end of Battery Park and did the tourist thing of taking phot's of the statue of liberty and such, also a man ws carring a huge python around his neck so yes I had snakemares that night.

We then ate at TGI Fridays and the burgers there are amazing. We then headed back to the hotel to change before dinner with Greg Ancliff (See I found out his name dad) and Simon (cant remember his.) at this little Thai place in the east village. Awesome food.

The headed for a drink before heading to my favourite club in the world Cielo where we danced to amazing music till 4 in the morning.

Tuesday we then headed about 3hrs north of New York (after only 3 hours of sleep and sleeping through our alarm) to a Motley Crue festival called CrueFest with Dave Aussenberg (a music manager and someone wet through Rohan's friends) where we spent all day in VIP access and hanging with Drowing Pool, Somthing Souls of a Deadman or something like that and just became groupies for the day. Motley Crue was hilarious and everyone music youtube the song Girls, Girls, Girls but instead sing squirrels, squirrels, squirrels as the chorus. Lots of fun.

We are now at the Hostel in the lower East Side and have just been to the UN and now I am sitting in the Public Library of NYC (yes where carrie was supposed to marry Big) typing this to you all.

I had better run but I love you all and miss you more. Dad Mum everything is fine now and will try to call you later. The gang BONKERS SQUIRRELS.

Love to all and I will type and upload photo's soon.

KRS-ONE

Mattlock I just met him and saw him and buckshot play at a free concert in a park behind city hall. I will add the photo's later for you.

I did not forget you I got a signed poster by both of them for you and he wants to ciome to Australia so I got his manager's details. LOL

Day Three

Well it has been raining here for the past two days but it is still 25 and muggy.

The interview went well and though the job I was going for was gone they are going to see what comes available over the next 6-12 months and get in touch with me. This is still hopefully so I am so excited.

I walked down Broadway street yesterday to the Soho district and found all of the boutique shop which is not good for my bank account.

I then went back to the hotel and relaxed silly jet lag.

Then I met up with Greg the guy i met off the plane and went to dinner with his friends Simon, Isabel, Nicol, Ben, Maggie and Stacy at this little Brazilian Restaurant in Williamsburg in Brooklyn where the food was amazing.

We then went to a Samba club around the corner and danced till about 2am then I headed to the Santos Party House and saw Q-Tip play which was awesome, so I am slightly tired today but I have so much to do as Zoe gets in tonight and we need to find a new place to stay from next Tuesday. I cant wait to see her.

I will update more later when I get to a proper internet cafe.

Miss you all and Mum and Dad I love this town. Love you.
